Waarom geen SLS?
Waarom is SLS slecht? SLS is een agressieve stof en heeft, ook in lage concentraties, een irriterend effect op de huid. Voor SLES geldt dit in mindere mate, daarom wordt deze stof meestal in shampoos gebruikt. Het nadeel van SLES is dat het als bijproduct dioxaan bevat.
Wat doet SLS met je haar?
In het geval van shampoos zou dat een droge, geïrriteerde hoofdhuid opleveren. Dit kan eigenlijk alleen maar gebeuren bij sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). Sodium laureth sulphate (SLES) werkt stukken minder irriterend; de meeste mensen ondervinden er helemaal geen hinder van.
Welke tandpasta heeft geen natriumlaurylsulfaat?
Oxyfresh heeft bijvoorbeeld een fijne, milde tandpasta zonder SLS. Het werkt met onder meer xylitol, zink, essentiële oliën en actief zuurstof. Het is geen witte tandpasta, zoals de meeste tandpasta’s, maar een doorzichtige gel.
