De landingsstranden van D-Day in Normandië Aan de Duitse kant verloren tussen de 4000 en 9000 soldaten het leven bij de Normandische stranden. De stranden waar de geallieerden met op landden, zijn onderverdeeld in 5 regio’s: Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach en Sword Beach.
