Wat wordt er met Tympanometrie bepaald?
Tympanometrie is een onderzoekstechniek die gebruikt wordt om na te gaan of er vocht in het middenoor zit. Deze techniek test eigenlijk de beweeglijkheid van het trommelvlies, die bepaald wordt door de verluchting in het middenoor. Als het middenoor goed verlucht is, kan het trommelvlies goed bewegen.
Wat is onderdruk oor?
Een druk op de oren ontstaat door een onvoldoende werking van de buis van Eustachius (de verbinding tussen neus en oor). Hierdoor ontstaat er onderdruk in het middenoor. Vaak kan dit ontstaan na een verkoudheid of indien er sprake is van een verstopte neus of een allergie.
