Wat is 100% modal?
Modal is een semisynthetisch textielsoort gemaakt van de cellulose uit beukenhout. Het is een verbeterde variant op viscose. Het spinproces waarbij de cellulose uit het hout wordt gehaald is wat aangepast, wat resulteert in langere cellulosemoleculen met betere eigenschappen.
