Wat betekent het als je als chauffeur een zogenaamd TIR carnet meekrijgt?
De letters TIR staan voor ‘Transports Internationaux Routiers’. TIR-vervoer moet door meer landen plaatsvinden. De EU wordt door de afschaffing van grensformaliteiten als één land beschouwd. Dit betekent dat een carnet TIR niet kan dienen voor vervoer van de ene plaats naar de andere plaats in de EU.
