John Winston Ono Lennon MBE (geboren als John Winston Lennon), (Liverpool, 9 oktober 1940 – New York, 8 december 1980) was een Engels popmusicus, vredesactivist en oprichter van de Liverpoolse groep The Quarrymen, die na enkele wijzigingen in de bezetting evolueerde tot The Beatles.
