Wat is een loonmatiging?
Een beperking van de stijging van de contractlonen. Het hoofddoel is het gebruik van de resterende ‘loonruimte’ voor het creëren van nieuwe banen of voor het beperken van afname van de werkgelegenheid.

Wat is het Loonquote?
De beloning van werknemers in verhouding tot het (bruto) binnenlands product.
Hoe bereken je het Loonquote?
Arbeidsinkomenquote = [(loonsom + toegerekend loon zelfstandigen) / nationaal inkomen] × 100%. Loonquote = (loonsom / nationaal inkomen) × 100%.
Hoe kan loonmatiging zorgen voor minder inflatie?
Voor
- Bevordert de werkgelegenheid.
- Leidt tot lagere overheidsuitgaven.
- Kan een loon-prijsspiraal voorkomen (enorme inflatie)
- Verbetert de concurrentiepositie van bedrijven in het land. Door lagere loonkosten van Nederlandse bedrijven kunnen zij goedkoper produceren dan buitenlandse bedrijven.
