Wat is actieve slib?
Actief slib is een zuurstofvragend biologisch proces dat ertoe dient om oplosbare organische materie om te zetten in vaste biomassa, die verwijderd kan worden met behulp van zwaartekracht of filtratie.
Wat gebeurt er in de Beluchtingstanks?
In de beluchtingstank zitten miljarden bacteriën, al deze bacteriën worden het actieve slib genoemd. Deze bacteriën eten al het overgebleven afval op, hiervoor hebben zij zuurstof nodig. Daarom wordt er veel lucht in de tank geblazen, waardoor het water gaat schuimen en kolken.
Wat is een Slibgistingstank?
Slibvergisting is een speciale categorie van vergisting die we vaak tegenkomen op plaatsen waar rioolwaterzuivering en afvalwaterzuivering plaatsvindt. Het slib wat op die locaties ontstaat is uitermate geschikt om als input te gebruiken in een vergister.

What are in-situ slabs?
These in-situ slabs are cast on site using shutters and reinforced steel. On technical drawings, reinforced concrete slabs are often abbreviated to “r.c.c. slab” or simply “r.c.”. Calculations and drawings are often done by structural engineers in CAD software.
