Hoe weet ik of UBO is ingeschreven?
Het UBO-register maakt de UBO’s inzichtelijk, en draagt zo bij aan het voorkomen van het gebruik van het financiële stelsel voor fraude, terrorismefinanciering of het witwassen van geld. Sommige gegevens van UBO’s in het UBO-register zijn openbaar en sommige zijn niet openbaar.

- Voor een natuurlijk persoon mag de persoon zelf contracten ondertekenen;
- Voor een eenmanszaak mag de persoon die achter de eenmanszaak zit dat;
- Voor een bv is in beginsel het volledige bestuur bevoegd is om het contract te ondertekenen.
Wie moet UBO verklaring invullen?
Bij een bv of nv bijvoorbeeld gaat het om: personen met meer dan 25 procent van de aandelen; personen met meer dan 25 procent van de stemrechten; personen die de feitelijke zeggenschap over de onderneming hebben.
