AZ is een Nederlandse profvoetbalclub uit Alkmaar en de Zaanstreek, Noord-Holland en speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in het AFAS Stadion te Alkmaar.
Waar gaat AZ spelen?
Het huidige AZ Alkmaar is in 1967 opgericht. De Alkmaar Zaanstreek combinatie ontstond na fusering van Alkmaar ’54 en FC Zaanstreek en de thuisbasis is het AFAS Stadion aan de rand van de stad. De Kaaskoppen werden twee keer landskampioen: in 1981 en 2009.
