Wat is het verschil tussen ALS en PSMA?
PSMA heeft veel symptomen welke ook bij ALS voorkomen, zoals fasciculaties (kleine spiertrillingen onder de huid) en ademhalingsklachten door zwakte van de ademhalingsspieren. Spasticiteit komt bij PSMA niet voor. Net als bij ALS blijven andere zenuwcellen zoals de gevoelszenuwen intact.
Wat is PLS voor een ziekte?
PLS is een aandoening van het ruggenmerg die leidt tot stijfheid en spasticiteit van de spieren in mond, benen en de armen. Het is niet precies bekend hoe vaak PLS voorkomt. Geschat wordt dat honderd tot tweehonderd mensen in Nederland deze ziekte hebben.
Wat is Bulbaire als?
