Wat is HDPE fles?
HDPE is uitstekend recyclebaar HDPE is een afkorting van High Density Polyetheen, of Hoge Dichtheid Polyetheen en is gemaakt van aardolie. Ongeveer een kwart van het gefabriceerde polyetheen is van het HDPE-type. Het overige driekwart wordt gebruikt voor LDPE, de zachte variant van dit plasticsoort.
Wat is beter HDPE of PP?
Het voornaamste verschil is de bestendigheid, PP is namelijk aanzienlijk sterker dan PE. PP heeft ook een hogere bestendigheid tegen chemische producten, wat het een meer betrouwbaar type kunststof maakt dan PE.
Wat is sterker LDPE of HDPE?
LDPE staat voor Low Density Polyetheen, ofwel lage dichtheid polyetheen. Het is het zachtere broertje van HDPE. LDPE plastic is taai, sterk en toch soepel. Voor de productie van LDPE plastic wordt zo’n 1% van de jaarlijkse hoeveelheid aardolie gebruikt.
Can products stamped with a 7 be recycled?
Products stamped with a 7 are often made out of multiple plastic types or out of other types of plastic that can’t easily be recycled. #7 products CAN SOMETIMES be recycled.
