NuvaRing draag je 3 weken, tijdens deze 3 weken geeft de ring continu een lage hoeveelheid van deze hormonen af aan je lichaam. Deze dosering is voldoende om een eisprong te remmen. Na de 3 weken haal je NuvaRing uit de vagina en start je een stopweek van maximaal 7 dagen waarin je je menstruatie krijgt.

Wat is beter de pil of NuvaRing?

Als je de ring steeds op tijd wisselt, is de kans op zwangerschap heel klein. Bij de ring heb je meer kans op trombose; meer nog dan bij de pil.

    • What are the advantages of NuvaRing?

    – Nuvaring could fall out during intercourse, bowel movement or tampon removal – Nuvaring could fail because user failed to replace it with a new one – Nuvaring could be sabotaged by a partner who removes it surreptitiously
