Hoe werk VoIP?
Bij VoIP wordt je stem omgezet in data, het wordt gedigitaliseerd. De data wordt in pakketjes via een netwerkverbinding verstuurd naar de ontvangende partij. De ontvangende partij is bijvoorbeeld een ander telefoontoestel of een telefooncentrale.
Hoe bellen met VoIP?
Populaire toepassingen van VoIP bellen zijn Skype, FaceTime en WhatsApp. Het enige wat je nodig hebt om zulke gesprekken te kunnen voeren is een smartphone. VoIP bellen kan via wifi of via de mobiele datanetwerken. Het tweede kost wel wat dus daarom is het belangrijk om je verbruik in de gaten te houden.
