G-SYNC is NVIDIA’s branded alternative to adaptive sync/FreeSync. Unlike FreeSync, which doesn’t need any additional hardware, G-SYNC monitors include a tiny computer module inside them to manage the syncing of frames rendered by the GPU and displayed by the screen.

All you need is an AMD Raven Ridge APU like the Ryzen 3 2200G and an NVIDIA graphics card to get it to work. You need to unplug your FreeSync monitor from the NVIDIA GPU and plug into the monitor instead which will make the integrated Vega GPU the primary output.
