Is Gerstmoutaroma glutenvrij?
Reacties. Gerst bevat gluten, maar wel redelijk weinig. En omdat alleen de gerstmoutaroma gebruikt wordt, dus maar een onderdeel ervan, is het mogelijk nog minder. En volgens de wet mag iets glutenvrij genoemd worden als het minder dan een bepaalde concentratie aan gluten bevat.
Wat drinken zonder gluten?
Warme dranken. Koffie en thee is van nature glutenvrij en gelukkig zijn de meeste theesoorten dat dus ook.
Wat mag je wel eten als je coeliakie hebt?

- Zilvervliesrijst en aardappelen zijn van nature glutenvrij en kun je gewoon eten.
- Ook glutenvrije granen, zoals gierst, teff, quinoa en boekweit zijn geschikt.
- Gebruik haver alleen als er expliciet ‘glutenvrij’ op de verpakking staat of als er het ‘Crossed Grain’ keurmerk op staat.
Wat is gerstemoutextract gluten?
Gerst is een glutenbevattend graan. Door gerstkorrels eerst te kiemen en daarna te drogen ontstaat gerstemout. Daarvan wordt een extract getrokken: gerstemoutextract of gerstemoutaroma. Een deel van de gluten wordt tijdens dit proces afgebroken.
Waar zitten gluten in drinken?
Automatenkoffie bevat soms gluten. Vooral door kruisbesmetting met andere dranken die uit die automaat komen (soep, chocolademelk). In sommige oploskoffie kunnen ook sporen van gluten zitten. En dan is er ook nog granenkoffie.

There is sometimes caramel coloring in ginger ale but in the US, unless is specifies wheat, it is made from corn. It could be the carbonation, maybe? If you have a stomach which is more on the sensitive side, the carbonation may be upsetting it? Carbonation always made my stomach growl at me.
