Hoe werkt een oogscan?
Het OCT scan apparaat stuurt een infrarode lichtbundel door het oog naar het netvlies; Het netvlies weerkaatst de lichtbundel; Het apparaat vangt het weerkaatste licht op en vertaalt het in beeld; Het beeld is opgebouwd uit verschillende kleuren, waardoor de structuren van het netvlies zichtbaar zijn.
Wat zie je op een oogscan?
Samen met uw oogarts heeft u besloten om een oogscan te laten maken. Dit noemen we ook wel een OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography). Met deze scan is de binnenkant van het oog, de oogzenuw en het netvlies met de macula heel duidelijk te zien. Het onderzoek is pijnloos.
Wat kost een OCT scan?
Het is aan te raden om na dit onderzoek een zonnebril te dragen omdat je wat licht gevoeliger kan zijn. Autorijden is ook niet mogelijk en ook begeleiding naar huis is aan te raden. De kosten van een OCT-scan onderzoek door onze optometristen bedragen €85,-.
Hoe gaat een oogzenuw onderzoek?
