Peperomia wil niet dagenlang droog staan. Maar continu natte wortels gaat ook niet goed. Doorgaans is eens in de week een lekkere scheut water goed. Blijf in de gaten houden of het water na een week allemaal weg is (dan meer water geven) of dat de aarde na een week juist nog heel vochtig is (dan minder water geven).
Hoe stek ik een Peperomia?
Peperomia stekken via een stengelstek
- Kies een paar mooie stengels uit van minimaal 10 centimeter.
- Snij deze van de plant af met een goed, scherp mes.
- Haal de onderste bladeren eraf.
- Zet de stekken in water.
- Zodra de wortels een paar centimeter zijn, kun je ze in de grond zetten.
- Jouw nieuwe plant kan volgroeien.
