Hoe vaak protopic smeren?
Psoriasis, lichen sclerosus en lichen planus: meestal smeert u 1 tot 2 keer per dag. Bij lichen planus in de mond: 2 tot 4 keer per dag. Het kan enkele weken duren voor u het effect merkt. Breng de zalf dun aan.
Wat is protopic?
Hoe werkt Protopic zalf? De werkzame stof, tacrolimus, is een zogenaamde “immunomodulator ”. Bij atopische dermatitis veroorzaakt het te sterk reageren van het afweersysteem van de huid huidontsteking (jeuk, roodheid, droogheid). Tacrolimus wijzigt de abnormale afweerreactie en neemt de huidontsteking en de jeuk weg.
Wat is Teerzalf?
Teerzalf is ontstekingsremmend en jeukstillend. Het is heel geschikt bij een droog, chronisch eczeem en bij psoriasis. Teerzalf heeft de eigenschap om de huid die door langdurig krabben verdikt is, weer zacht en soepel te maken.
Waar gebruik je protopic voor?
Protopic is bedoeld voor de behandeling van matig tot ernstig atopisch eczeem bij volwassenen en kinderen boven de 2 jaar die niet afdoende reageren op conventionele behandelingen of deze niet verdragen. Het is niet bedoeld voor andere vormen van eczeem.
Is Teerzalf hetzelfde als Trekzalf?
Overigens bevat de trekzalf slechts 10 of 20% ichthammol, afhankelijk van de zwaarte van de huidaandoening. Het wordt ook wel zwarte trekzalf of teerzalf genoemd omdat het qua geur, kleur en smaak teerachtige eigenschappen bezit.
