Wat zit er in de Buffy Coat?
Een buffycoat is een suspensie van erytrocyten, leukocyten, trombocyten en plasma afkomstig van één volbloedafname na centrifugeren. Het volume ligt tussen 44 – 56 mL.
Hoe lang mag je trombocyten bewaren?

Hoeveel kost een zak trombocyten?
In Nederland kost een zakje rode bloedcellen (een eenheid) E200,-. Dat is het dubbele van wat er in België en Duitsland wordt betaald. In België kost een zakje bloed E100,-, in Duitsland E80,-. Alleen in Italië, waar twee bloedbanken zijn, is er één bloedbank met een hogere prijs: E220,-.
Wat is Kruisbloed?
