Wat verkoopt plankton?
Plankton is een eenoogkreeftje en de eigenaar van een slechtlopend restaurant de Maatemmer, dat tegenover de Krokante Krab ligt. Plankton probeert het geheime krabburger recept vaak te stelen, zodat zijn restaurant beter gaat draaien, maar hij wordt meestal gestopt door SpongeBob of Meneer Krabs.
Wat is plantaardig plankton?
Plantaardig plankton wordt ook wel fytoplankton genoemd. Het staat aan de basis van de voedselketen in de oceanen. Deze eencellige plantjes nemen net als planten op het land CO2 op en stoten zuurstof uit. En door de enorme hoeveelheid fytoplankton produceren de oceanen de helft van alle zuurstof die wij inademen.
Welke dier eet plankton?
Het zooplankton wordt gegeten door allerlei vissen, zoals haring. De kleine vissen worden zelf weer gegeten door grotere vissen, door inktvissen, vogels, zeehonden en walvissen. Sommige van die dieren worden zelf ook weer gegeten, andere niet. Dieren die zelf niet gegeten worden staan aan de top van de voedselketen.

[Plankton takes the rotten chum to a local snail park. He pushes the hose through the hole in the fence and into one of the holes in SpongeBob’s back. Rotten chum sprays out through SpongeBob’s holes and he flies all around in the air. SpongeBob finds this very ticklish and laughs in joy.
Why is chum made of fish?
The fact that chum is made of fish means the whole point of Plankton’s business is to make the Bikini Bottomites engage in cannibalism. In real life, people use chum for bait when they catch fish.
Why does plankton eat all the CHUM in SpongeBob?
Plankton cannot pay the fine, so the inspector gives him another option: to eat all the chum. Plankton does this over a long period of time and becomes extremely big in the process. This episode reveals Mr. Krabs’ love for chum as back when he was in the navy, he tasted chum and fell in love with it.
