Waar komt Ericsson vandaan?
Ericsson (Telefonaktiebolaget L. M. Ericsson) is een Zweedse fabrikant van telecommunicatieapparatuur, opgericht in 1876 als een reparatiewinkel voor telegrafieapparatuur door Lars Magnus Ericsson.
Waar is Bluetooth ontstaan?
De geschiedenis van Bluetooth begint in 1994. De Nederlandse elektrotechnicus Jaap Haartsen werkt op dat moment voor het Zweedse Ericsson aan een technologie om een draadloze verbinding mogelijk te maken tussen een telefoon en een headset.

Dat een communicatieprotocol naar Harald I is vernoemd, is vooral te verklaren omdat hij verschillende volken in zijn rijk wilde laten samenwerken. Net zoals bluetooth dat u op korte afstand koppelt aan verschillende randapparaten.
