Een Podenco kan hoge sprongen maken….. kan rechtstandig, zonder aanloop kan hij 2 meter hoog springen (denk aan de tuinafscheiding). De Podenco is geen echte rennen, hij neemt eerder enorme sprongen. De honden werken geheel zelfstandig, opsporen, vangen, doden en tot slot apporteren.
