Waar geld de ophokplicht?
Deze verplichting volgt meestal op berichten over de vondst van besmette vogels in de buurt van Nederland, een uitbraak in een buurland of in eigen land. De ophokplicht geldt meestal alleen voor commercieel gehouden pluimvee. Voor hobbypluimvee is er bij een uitbraak in eigen land sprake van een afschermplicht.
Wat houdt afschermplicht in?
Dit houdt in dat er maatregelen worden genomen zodat het gevogelte niet in contact komt met in het wild levende dieren, hun uitwerpselen en gevogelte van een andere houder. In tegenstelling tot de ophokplicht, mogen de dieren bij een afschermplicht wel naar buiten mits afgeschermd.
Hoe lang ophokplicht voor kippen?
Maatregelen. Hobbyhouders moeten sinds 15 november 2021 dan ook al hun pluimvee afschermen en alle pluimvee en andere vogels nog enkel binnen of onder netten voederen en drenken. Loopvogels, roofvogels, sportduiven en andere sier- en zangvogels moeten op dit ogenblik nog niet afgeschermd worden.
