Je brengt zelf 4 tabletten Misoprostol diep in je vagina in. Meestal krijg je binnen 2 tot 6 uur pijn en vaginaal bloedverlies. Meestal krijg je binnen enkele uren een miskraam. Hierna wordt de pijn minder.
Hoe lang geen krampen meer na inbrengen Cytotec?
Na inname van Cytotec zal er bij 71% van de patiënten na 3 dagen expulsie opgetreden zijn. Het proces begint met mini- maal bloedverlies en menstruatiepijn, maar op het moment van expulsie is er ruim en hevig bloedverlies gedurende 2 tot 4 uur (zoals bij een menstruatie). Dit gaat gepaard met intense buikkrampen.
Hoe lang duurt een miskraam met misoprostol?
De miskraam kan enkele uren duren. Na de miskraam kan je nog twee weken last houden van menstruatiepijn en (licht) bloedverlies. Twee weken na de miskraam kom je op controle bij de gynaecoloog.
