Hoeveel is 8 watt spaarlamp?
Een spaarlamp van 8 watt zou dezelfde hoeveelheid licht moeten leveren als een gloeilamp van 40 watt. Natuurlijk is niet elke spaarlamp exact hetzelfde, dus dit kan enigzins variëren. Vaak staat op de verpakking van een spaarlamp wat voor watt gloeilamp vergelijkbaar is qua hoeveelheid licht.
Is LED zuiniger dan spaarlamp?
LED lampen zijn duurder in de aanschaf dan spaarlampen, maar gaan wel een stuk langer mee met gemiddeld 35.000 branduren vergeleken met slechts 5000 branduren. LEDs zijn nog zuiniger dan spaarlampen. Spaarlampen branden niet meteen op volle sterkte en zullen na verloop van tijd minder licht geven.
