Hoe wordt fentanyl toegediend?
Fentanyl kan via een infuus of via de neus worden toegediend. Het voordeel van de toediening door de neus is dat het kind niet geprikt hoeft te worden. Het medicijn wordt in beide neusgaten toegediend. De werking treedt in na 5 à 10 minuten en houdt 30 à 60 minuten aan.
