Hoe werkt een dome camera?
Een dome camera is een bewakingscamera in een koepelvormige behuizing. Het bolvormige omhulsel is gemaakt om ervoor te zorgen dat er geen stof, nattigheid of viezigheid in de camera komt. De bolle kap dient wel geregeld gereinigd te worden zodat hij schoon blijft en het beeld scherpt blijft.
Wat is een Domecamera?
Dome betekend letterlijk “koepel”. Dit verwijst naar de doorzichtige koepel over de lens van de camera. De dome camera is voorzien van een metalen of kunststof behuizing waarop een transparante “dome” gemonteerd is. Achter de dome bevinden zich de lens en eventueel de infrarood sensoren en andere hardware.
