Hoeveel frets heeft een Fender?
Op de toets waren in eerste instantie 21 frets aangebracht. Bij latere modellen zijn dat er vaak 22. Voor die 22e fret steekt de toets dan enkele millimeters uit over de body terwijl een toets met 21 frets stopt bij de rand van de hals.
Welke Fender?
Welke fender voor jouw boot het meest geschikt is en hoeveel je er minimaal aan boord moet hebben, hangt onder meer van de lengte van je boot en rompvorm af. Je dient altijd fenders te plaatsen op plaatsen waar het schip beschadigd zou kunnen worden als die langs een steiger ligt.
