Waar staan de 5S en voor?
5S staat voor Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu en Shitsuke. In het Nederlands zouden we zeggen: Scheiden, Schikken, Schoonmaken, Standaardiseren en Standhouden (in de organisatie). Vijf fasen die ertoe leiden dat werkplekken opgeruimd, veilig en goed georganiseerd blijven.

Wat zijn organisatiemodellen?
ORGANISATIEMODELLEN; dit zijn managementmodellen die zich richten op de doelmatigheid en effectiviteit van de organisatie als geheel. Veel gebruikte organisatiemodellen in Nederland zijn het INK-model, het 7S-model van Mc-Kinsey en het House of Control.
Waarom staan shared values in het midden van het 7 S model?
De shared values staan in het midden van het 7S model en dat is niet voor niets gedaan. Het idee hierachter is dat de centrale waarden binnen een bedrijf invloed hebben op alle andere facetten. Een bedrijf is opgezet met een bepaald denkbeeld (visie) van de oprichters. Dit straalt door naar alle delen van het bedrijf.
Gedeelde waarden (Shared values) De factor gedeelde waarden is een directe koppeling tussen alle andere factoren. Het betreft de waarden die binnen het bedrijf centraal staan, dus waar het bedrijf op is gebaseerd. Denk hierbij aan de bedrijfsvisie, bedrijfscultuur en kernwaarden.
