Hoe lang mag je Hormoonpleisters gebruiken?
Daarna plak je weer elke week een nieuwe pleister. Je mag niet langer dan 6 weken elke week een pleister plakken. Daarna moet je weer een stopweek hebben.
Is de pleister betrouwbaar?
Door de drieledige werking van de anticonceptiepleister is het een zeer betrouwbaar anticonceptiemiddel. De kans op een zwangerschap is slechts 0,3%, maar dit geldt alleen als je hem juist gebruikt. Houd je een te lange stopweek of laat je een pleister te lang zitten? Dan kan de betrouwbaarheid afnemen.
Waar Hormoonpleisters plakken?
Je plakt de hormoonpleister op een schone, onbehaarde en droge plek op je buik, bil, bovenkant van je romp of de buitenkant van je bovenarm. Een nieuwe pleister plak je op een ander stukje huid, en dus niet op dezelfde plek als de vorige pleister.
Hoe snel werken estradiol pleisters?
De gunstige werking bij overgangsklachten is pas na één tot twee weken merkbaar. Hoe lang dit medicijn doorwerkt ligt aan wat voor pleister u krijgt, of dat u een spray krijgt. Vaak werkt estradiol drie tot zeven dagen door.

Evorel sequi is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) preparation. It consists of two types of patches: Evorel 50 patches, which contain estradiol (previously spelt oestradiol in the UK) and Evorel conti patches, which contain estradiol and norethisterone. Anyway, this time with manufacturing issues with femseven, I have had to change to Evorel Sequi patches. Started on full patches, but then had problems with bloating and period-type pains (low back and tummy but no bleeding) and I ended up ripping the patch off.
How often to change Evorel Sequi patches?
Re: Evorel Sequi anyone? As Susan says all the instructions for most of the patches (Evorel, Estradot etc) say change twice a week not 48 hours so not sure what information leaflet that is that says 48 hours – not the official one that comes with the product as far as I know?
What is combined HRT (Evorel Sequi)?
This is known as combined HRT. Evorel sequi is known as a sequential form of combined HRT, which means that oestrogen is used on a continuous basis and a progestogen is added for the last two weeks of every monthly cycle. It is more suitable for women who are still having irregular periods because it usually results in a monthly bleed.
