Regisseur Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King) bevestigde dat seizoen 3 van The Mandalorian verder zal gaan met het verhaal van Din Djarin. Aangezien The Book of Boba Fett in december van 2021 verschijnt, zullen we seizoen 3 van The Mandalorian pas op zijn vroegst in 2022 kunnen zien.
