Waarom ACE-remmer bij Nierinsufficientie?
ACE-remmers hebben een paradoxale invloed op de nierfunctie. Aan de ene kant kunnen ze bij nefropathie de proteïnurie verbeteren en een verdere achteruitgang van de nierfunctie afremmen.
Is Entresto een ACE-remmer?

Wat is de werking van Entresto?
De angiotensine-II-blokker valsartan verlaagt de bloeddruk en verbetert de conditie van de hartspier. Sacubitril versterkt de werking van lichaamseigen stoffen (natri-uretische peptiden). Deze peptiden verbeteren de doorstroming door de nieren, waardoor u meer vocht en zout uitplast.
