Welk land is Kazachstan?
Kazachstan, dat grotendeels in Azië ligt en voor een klein deel in Oost-Europa, staat qua oppervlakte in de top-10 grootste landen ter wereld. Er wonen zo’n 18 miljoen mensen. Dat is iets meer dan in Nederland, maar het land is wel 65 keer zo groot. Tussen 1936 en 1991 maakte Kazachstan deel uit van de Sovjet-Unie.
