Torque (Engelstalig) betekent: draaimoment, koppel. Torque steer betekent: stuurgedrag dat tussen de beide wielen van dezelfde as een bepaald koppel teweegbrengt. Dat veroorzaakt een instabiel weggedrag tijdens het ‘onder vermogen’ rechtuitrijden over een ongelijk wegdek.
