Wat is een ABS module?
Het antiblokkeersysteem zorgt ervoor dat de remmen niet blokkeren tijdens het remmen. Het elektronisch systeem zorgt ervoor dat er pompend geremd wordt en de wielen niet kunnen blokkeren. Een ABS-module bestaat uit diverse componenten: hydraulische pomp, sensoren, ECU en de pompmotor.
Wat doet een ABS sensor?
De inductieve ABS-sensor bestaat uit een permanente magneet waar een spoel omheen zit. De magnetische veldsterkte verandert wanneer een magnetismegevoelig voorwerp door het veld van de magneet beweegt. Door de verandering van het magnetisch veld wordt in de spoel een spanning opgewekt.
Wat doet een antiblokkeersysteem?
Het ABS-systeem zorgt ervoor dat de auto tijdens een noodstop bestuurbaar blijft. Het ABS regelt het remmen elektronisch. Sensoren in de wielen houden in de gaten of er een wiel dreigt te blokkeren. Zo ja, dan vermindert ABS kort de remkracht op dat ene wiel.
