Hoe lang duurt de werking van Kenacort?
Kenacort werkt zeer effectief bij hypertrofische en keloïde littekens. Het Kenacort wordt in het litteken gespoten en laat het litteken in verloop van weken rijpen en gedeeltelijk smelten. Na vier weken is het middel uitgewerkt en moet de behandeling zo nodig worden herhaald.
Wat is de werking van Kenacort?
Een kenacort injectie is een injectie (spuit) met twee stoffen. Deze twee stoffen zorgen er samen voor dat de ontstekingsreacties in de weefsels worden onderdrukt, waardoor zowel de pijn als de zwelling afneemt of zelfs helemaal verdwijnt.
Wat zijn de bijwerkingen van Kenacort?
Bijwerkingen
- De pijnklachten kunnen gedurende 2 tot 3 dagen na de injectie verergeren.
- Uw gezicht kan enkele dagen na de injectie wat roder kleuren dan normaal, dit verdwijnt na enkele dagen.
- Er kunnen wat hormonale schommelingen ontstaan, waardoor er menstruatiestoornissen kunnen optreden.
